Frank's Bio
Frank founded Cypress Risk Advisors in 2020 after retiring from Lockton after 18 years of service. During that time, he led Lockton’s ERM consulting practice where he provided consultative advice to clients in the areas of risk strategy development and Enterprise Risk Management. Frank’s approach is to design risk management strategies that are aligned with and supportive of clients’ corporate goals and objectives. Frank also assists clients in implementing Enterprise Risk Management processes that are fitted to the company’s corporate culture, while adhering to ERM best practices. Frank’s actuarial and analytical background allows him to consult with clients on risk identification, quantification and the design of appropriate risk finance strategies. He has broad national account experience working with Fortune 500 clients, privately held clients, and not-for-profits.
Frank started his career with the National Council on Compensation Insurance in their actuarial program. He left the NCCI to join Aon (Rollins Burdick Hunter) to head up their actuarial and analytics practice. Frank later joined Arthur Andersen and KPMG where he provided risk management and ERM consulting advice and co-led the development of a risk strategy consulting practice for the firm. Frank has a BA in mathematics from Montclair State University and has completed 6 actuarial exams. He has been a frequent speaker and author on a variety of risk management issues related to risk strategy and ERM.
